Utah County’s top revenue engine now has a headquarters to match. Nu Skin has invested more than $100 million in Downtown Provo with its expansion project, which includes adding more than 168,000 square feet, a healthy restaurant and the largest permanently installed LED screen in the country.
CFO Ritch Wood remembers the genesis of the project being a $14 million data center expansion, but then founder Blake Roney said, “I want this building to be a ‘Wow!'”
Wood knew that comment would change the pricetag, which it did. But it also brought a vision that matches the publicly-traded company’s international culture of creativity and success.
“This building brings us together and sets the vision and standard for Nu Skin,” Wood said. “We are future focused, and this building gives us a chance to think differently and light our sales force on fire at the same time.”
The sales force will be in town for the annual convention next week and will tour the building as part of its grand opening.
