Christmas comes but once a year, and so do these incredible Christmas light displays created by locals. Here are 10 displays that will add a little more magic to your holiday season. Bonus: you don’t even have to get out of your car.

 

1. Fibernet Building

The Fibernet building by University Mall features spectacular lighting by light display aficionado Richard Holdman of

Holdman Lighting. Just tune your car radio to 99.9 FM and enjoy the show.

2. The Downey House of Dancing Lights

The Downey House of Dancing Lights is a must-see if you’re in the Lehi area. The light show, set to upbeat Christmas songs, runs every evening through New Year’s Day from 5 pm to midnight.

 3. Lehi Home’s Dancing Lights

This home’s light display was created by an electrical engineer. Watch the lights change color and sparkle on his house and star-topped tree, all to the sounds of Christmas music.

4. Spanish Fork Festival of Lights

The Spanish Fork Festival of Lights features a series of animated Christmas scenes that will have you and your children laughing all the way. The display is open nightly through New Year’s Day from 6 pm to 10 pm. Tickets are $7 per car or $20 per large passenger car or car with a trailer. Just tune in to 99.5 FM to see the lights dance to Christmas music.

5. Pond Town Christmas

Salem City’s Pond Town Christmas is a loved local tradition. Trees and bridges, glistening with light, are reflected in the pond, creating a magical effect.  Admission to the pond display is free, but, many visitors choose to see the lights via horse-drawn carriage, which is $45 and 30 minutes long.

6. Watts Pleasant Grove Home

Richard and Jean Watts' home in Pleasant Grove (just north of the old, white Manilla church) has seeminly covered every limb of every tree on their gorgeous estate.

Few spots in Utah Valley pull out the Christmas lights like the Shops at Riverwoods in Provo. Adding to the ambiance of location are water features and roaring fires.
