Quick Quack Car Wash, a Roseville, California-based company, has announced the opening of the first of at least 10 car washes to be built in Utah County over the next two years.

The first car wash is located at 376 East 1000 North in Spanish Fork and will be giving away free car washes for 10 days to celebrate its Grand Opening from Aug. 17 through Aug. 26. The car wash is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is closed on Sundays.

The new location in Spanish Fork is evidence of Quick Quack’s recent growth including both new construction and acquisitions in western states, including California, Texas, Colorado and Utah. An additional location in Orem, next to Costco, is already under construction and another in Springville will break ground very soon.

“We are thrilled to finally bring our brand of car wash to Utah where we have many strong ties,” said Jason Johnson, CEO of Quick Quack Car Wash. “We take pride in providing a fast, clean and fun exterior car wash experience that turns customers into raving fans.”

Aside from the big yellow duck named Quackals, Quick Quack Car Wash is best known for its unlimited “wash all you want” car wash memberships and free vacuums.

Quick Quack Car Wash has a record of sponsoring local events and athletic programs as well as contributing to community groups’ fundraising efforts. Quick Quack is regularly named the favorite or best car wash in the areas where they operate and has been recognized and honored for sustainable business practices and water conservation.

While officially headquartered in California, Quick Quack has partnered with Dallas Hakes, a Utah County resident, entrepreneur and developer to bring Quick Quack to Utah. “Quick Quack has a great brand and is well-loved in every community in which they operate,” said Mr. Hakes. “Utah will be no different. Quick Quack Car Wash will be heavily involved in local events and fundraising. Everyone is going to fall in love with the duck.”

Quick Quack Car Wash has 25 locations in California, Texas, Colorado and Utah. The Quick Quack Car Wash concept grew from a desire to get cars clean using the best technology and to do it extremely fast. Fully automated and computerized, the high-quality and environmentally-friendly car washing system uses soft cloth and filtered, recycled water. The customer stays in their vehicle while being automatically guided through the car wash where the vehicle is soaked, soaped, washed, polished, rinsed with spot-free water and dried, all in a matter of minutes.
