From the Point of the Mountain all the way down to Santaquin, Utah Valley has a lot to offer — especially in weekend activities. There are no excuses for staying in all weekend when there are these quality events happening around Utah Valley. Here are five of our picks for the upcoming weekend:
Utah County Fair
Close out summer with one last fair. Start up the monster trucks, call in the reptile display and prepare to be hypnotized (really, Hypno Hick will perform on the fair stage).

Laura Osnes and Mark Masri with the Utah Valley Symphony
Broadway star Laura Osnes has the glass slipper that fits Utah County. Osnes, who performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in the 2015 Pioneer Day concert, has been in multiple Broadway shows including “Cinderella,” “Grease” and more. Mark Masri, a classically trained crossover tenor, will join Osnes and the Utah Valley Symphony for the performance.

BYU women’s volleyball: Blue vs. White
Cougar fans, it’s time! That time being the start of fall sports, and the BYU women’s volleyball team is kicking off the season with an in-squad competition between the Blue and White teams.

Happy Valley Derby Darlins: HVDD vs. Ladies of the Lake
The Utah Valley belles of the roller derby skate off at the Shove Shack. Move outside of the box and into the rink for sports fandom this weekend.
