Vita Bone Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Competition
Midway is going to the dogs this weekend. Watch in awe as dogs with Olympic-level skills herd five sheep into a pen in the preliminary round. Then on Monday the pups will up the ante in the championship round by herding two groups of eight sheep. Learn more about the sheepherding competition here.
Timpanogos Storytelling Festival
Look who’s talking this weekend at the 27th Annual Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. Listen to the spoken word as you take a journey with talented storytellers from around the world.

Rooftop Concert Series: The Lower Lights and Salt Lake City Mass Choir
It’s a religious affair at the final Rooftop Concert Series of the 2016 season. The Lower Lights — which was organized in 2009 — explores well-known and overlooked hymns. Joining the Lower Lights, the Salt Lake City Mass Choir brings gospel music to conservative Utah.

There’s nothing bizarre about Provo’s bazaar. With an endless stream of talented crafters in Utah Valley, the Beehive Bazaar helps you open your door to handcrafted, locally made products.
When: Sept. 1–3 at 10 a.m.
Where: Startup Building in Provo
Take a trip across the ocean — or maybe take a short drive up the canyon — for Midway’s annual Swiss Days. The theme manifests itself through the entertainment, food and vendors. The parade starts at 10 a.m. in downtown Midway.
