Casting call When Frantz was 5, he and his parents left their native Haiti for Quebec in search of a better education. Now the desire rolls on with Frantz’ career as executive vice president of Tech Trep Academy. The online learning community focuses on STEM, entrepreneurship and innovation.
The show must go on “In 2016 my oldest brother and my father passed away. I came to realize how fragile life is and that I wanted to express love often to my family.”
Behind-the-scenes “I modeled and acted in my early 20s. I also love rice and beans with a passion, but it must be done the Haitian way.”
Dress rehearsal “I approached one of my friends and asked her if she was pregnant. She responded, ‘No, Frantz, I’m just fat.’ I looked at her with my mouth wide open. I was embarrassed and did not know what to say, so I told her I needed to get going. Needless to say, even if it is extremely obvious, you will not find me inquiring of a woman if she is pregnant.”
Encore “I enjoyed my youth with my four siblings, particularly when we played cowboys in the Wild West. We always fought to decide who would be the good guy, because the good guy had the best lines and above all the good guys always won.”
