Provo’s Rooftop Concert Series announced its first lineup of the 2017 season: The Aces, Foreign Figures and Festive People.

The free downtown Provo event takes place on the first Friday of the month during the summer and opens in May.

The Aces, formerly The Blue Aces, is a pop group made up of four girls. They opened for big names such as Neon Trees as well as for Tim McGraw at the 2016 Stadium of Fire. The Aces released a new single, “Physical,” on April 7. The Aces also played in the May 2016 Rooftop Concert Series behind The Str!ke.

Alternative/pop group Foreign Figures is a four-man band from Orem, Utah. Festive People is also a four-man band from Provo, Utah.

While the Rooftop Concert Series started on a parking garage rooftop off of Center Street, the series moved to the Nu Skin Plaza, 100 W. Center Street, in 2015 because of the overwhelming popularity of the concerts.

The first concert of the 2017 season will be on Friday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m.
