14 Utah County Easter egg hunts this weekend

Grab your baskets. In preparation for Easter Sunday, Utah County cities and businesses are holding Easter Egg hunts and other Easter festivities over the weekend. Here are 14 Utah County locations celebrating the holidays with an Easter egg hunt:

Operation Easter Egg Drop

Instead of hopping down the bunny trail, the Easter Bunny is taking to the sky to drop its Easter eggs from a helicopter above the parking lot at Cabela’s in Lehi. There will be two drops: one at 11:15 a.m. for children ages 2 to 8 and another at 11:45 a.m. for ages 9 to 12.

Easter Egg-stravaganza For Children

Cedar Hills will used recycled plastic eggs. There will also be pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Eagle Mountain Easter Egg Hunt

Eagle Mountain breaks the young egg hunters down into three different age groups: 3-4 years, 5-8 years and 9-12 years. The city has 25,000 eggs and will also have pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Easter Egg Hunt with Provo Pride

There will also be snow cones from Leilani’s Eatery and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Easter Eggstreme at Thanksgiving Point

Eggs will be filled with small toys, treats, and other goodies. The Easter Bunny will also come hopping down the trail to take pictures with your family. Besides the Easter Eggstreme hunt, there will also be the cow train, jumping on inflatables, face painting and more.

When: April 15 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Highland Easter Egg Hunt and Cookie Decorating

After collecting the eggs from the field, join the Highland Arts Council at the pavilion to decorate holiday cookies.

Lindon Annual Easter Egg Hunt

There are four age groups: 2 and under, 3-5 years, 6-8 years and 9-12 years.

The Orem Police Department is inviting children with autism to join them in a special Easter egg hunt.

Saratoga Springs Spring Festival

While the Easter Egg Hunt doesn’t begin until 9 a.m., there is an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. that costs $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. After the Easter Egg Hunt is over, there are spring crafts at the Saratoga Springs Library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
