“I love dianthus. They’re beautiful and they bring the butterflies. My husband and I are switching over to growing mostly perennials now because they’re easier to keep up with. I’m also fond of rock gardens. They add something different to the garden.”

“We grow all kinds of vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, corn. I like to grow daisies, too, because they come back every year and are so cheerful.”

“I love ornamental shrubbery. Shrubs are nice because you don’t have to plant them every year and they’re easier to care for. They also add a nice balance to the garden; they’re the half point between trees and flowers. People don’t use enough shrubs in their landscaping and gardening.”

“Without a doubt, tomatoes are my favorite thing to grow. They’re easy to grow, they stay out all summer long and into the fall and they produce a large crop. My wife likes to bottle ‘em up so we can enjoy them all winter.”

“I haven’t grown a lot of vegetables, but I’m looking forward to growing perennials this spring. I’m pretty excited for my tulips to come up as well. I’ve been waiting for them all year.”
