Dear Editor,

I enjoyed your feature on Stephanie Nielson (nieniedialogues.com) in the January/February issue of Utah Valley Magazine.

Finally, a true example of a Utah Valley hero! No money, celebrity or business to promote — just an incredible example of triumph over tragedy and so much more. We got a glimpse of a wife and mother who has certainly been “acquainted with grief.” Through it all she has not become bitter. Rather, she has come to really know our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. You can feel it with her every word; you can see it in her actions.

I know there are many unsung heroes in Utah Valley. How great it was to read about one of the choicest!

Dear Editor,

I know this was probably an oversight, but you put in bold type at the bottom of January’s magazine: “Faces of Funny.” You also put the picture of a severely burned woman on the cover. I know these are separate articles, but I hurt inside to think of how the woman may have felt.
