”We are pleased to be opening doors at University Mall, the state’s largest shopping destination,” Daniel Kulle, U.S. President for H&M, said in a press release. “We hope more and more customers will appreciate our offering of fashion and quality at the best prices for the whole family as we continue to build our presence in Utah.”
While rumors have gone around that H&M will take over the old Nordstrom store location, H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) will be located next to Forever 21 where Tai-Pan used to be.
The 21,000 square foot store will sell ladies, men, young ladies and young men clothing. There will also be children’s clothing for children as well as plus sizes. Also, “store within store” areas will feature accessories, lingerie and maternity.
Their global garment recycling program allows costumers to bring in a bag of used clothing, no matter the brand, and donate it for the a chance to win an H&M gift cards valued between $50 and $100.
To celebrate the opening day at University Mall, H&M is offering the first 100 shoppers in line an H&M T-shirt as well as a Fashion Pass, a gift card worth between $10 and $300. There will also be opening day sales.
The store hours will be Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m; the store is closed on Sunday.
