Great wedding photography isn’t a snap. It takes planning, perfectionists and the perfect-for-you photographer. Here are five ways to click with it.
Meet and Greet
Before you decide on your photographer — book yourself a meet cute. Get to know him or her and see if your personalities gel. If you want the stellar shots, trust is a must.
Get Engaging
For your engagement photos, punctuate with personality. Have a theme, bring a prop or utilize your locations. But whatever you do, make sure it’s authentically you.
Groomed to Perfection
Groomals have become the bridal standard — and we’re thrilled. Getting those “his & her” shots in a relaxed session (as opposed to rushing and ranting between the ceremony and reception) is picture perfect. If you still want to surprise your groom with your gown, have your photographer capture a “first look” session.
Kiss and Makeup
Naturally speaking, you’ll need to wear more makeup than you’re used to for your photo sessions. You want to look like yourself (and we want you to look like yourself!) but make sure the lens focuses on the glam version of you.
Photography Vow
Photography is quite possibly the most important wedding decision you’ll make.
(Next to your honey, obvs.)
Vow now to make it a priority in budget and beauty.
