Festival season in Utah Valley is a full-out celebration — from art to finish. Kicking off in south Utah County, Springville Art City Days draws a crowd from June 7-14. The festival includes a grand parade, a hot air balloon festival, swimming activities, a rodeo, fireworks and of course, art! Most events are free to the public. Art City Days is primarly held in and around Spring Acres Arts Park and provides a palette of colorful activities.

Art City is home to the state’s oldest museum for fine arts and the city is known for its special development of the arts. It’s no surprise that the events taking place at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains feature visual and entertainment appeal.

“We have over 30 elements going throughout the week and a huge variety of activities,” says event organizer Chuck Keeler. “Guaranteed, there’s something for everybody. I get sick of hearing that, but I don’t get sick of saying it — because it’s true!”

From 3-on-3 basketball to quilt shows, Art City Days has had the festival down to an art for 10 years. For more information, visit springville.org.
