Zija International, which is best known for a variety of nutritional supplements, is launching Améo Essential Oils line with a quality validation process they claim is unlike any other in the industry for the oils.
“We will be able to literally show people the quality of oils that are apart of Améo in a way that is unheard of,” said Rodney Rasmussen, director of marketing communications. “Along with our validation process, we have unsurpassed formulators, scientists and essential oil experts that help us guarantee quality and value in our essential oils.”
Through their planning and developing of this product line, they also acknowledge that there is competition in the demographic they are launching their product. Young Living Essential Oils and doTerra neighbor Zija. Regardless, they feel confident and passionate about the success of this addition to the company.
“We set the bar high for our products. We make sure they are the highest quality, the best of the best, and are truly going to help better our customer’s lives,” said Kimi Bennett, marketing communications specialist. “You’re going to see quality and value in our Améo products that have been carefully researched, developed and formulated. All of these things will play into the success of our essential oil line.”

The unique name of the line came from áme, which means soul in French, and rico, which means rich in Spanish. Together they create Améo, which means an essential oils product that’s enriching to the soul.
“Our passion for providing optimum health and wellness has since expanded into two new product divisions: Améo Essential Oils and Ripstix Supplements,” Bennett said.
All of Zija International’s product divisions are built upon the four pillars of their “Life Unlimited” mantra and company culture — health and wellness, active lifestyle, financial freedom and personal development.
The launch of the Améo Essential Oils line has been in the running for the past year. This has given Zija time to research and source the best botanicals, scientists, formulators, farms and distilling processes.
These factors are the key contributors to Zija’s confidence in the launch of the oils.
Part of Zija’s company mission statement says, “Feel your best, look your best, be your best, and have the energy and vitality needed to enjoy it. This is life unlimited.”
The Améo Essential Oils line is the next step in helping their customers achieve this mission statement.
The oils will be launched on Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Zija Summit 2014 convention. This will be held Sept. 23 to Sept. 27 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake.
I am ever so curious how you developed the name Améo (I understand the French soul) but where does the Spanish “rico” come into play?) by taking the “o” and adding it at the end? Too silly and too much a marketing stretch.. It devalues your offering. Do you know how many Spanish words would provide the same letter “o”? I would hope your customer base is not as gullible as you make them to be with such disingenuous extrapolation.
