‘Studio C’ raps and croons in ‘The Hunger Games Musical: Mockingjay Parody’

What once was a New York Times Best Selling trilogy, is now a box office topper. And now — thanks to BYUtv’s “Studio C” — “The Hunger Games” is a short musical parody.

“Studio C” released their series of “The Hunger Games Musical: Mockingjay Parody” on YouTube Thursday. In three songs, these parodies take a step into the thought process of the dynamic love triangle.

Peeta’s Song: Cinna (Stacey Harkey) raps about Peeta’s (Stephen Meek) efforts to get Katniss.

Katniss’ Song: Katniss (Mallory Everton) sings about being in a relationship with two different men at one time and the difficulty of choosing between Peeta and Gale.

Gale’s Song: Gale (Jason Gray) gives words to his feelings in a ballad about how he is so much better than Peeta.
