BYU women to take on 3-seeded Louisville in NCAA Tournament


BYU’s women’s basketball team stormed its way into the NCAA Tournament after an impressive conference tournament run that secured the Cougars spot in the big dance.

It was announced today on ESPN’s NCAA women’s basketball Selection Monday that BYU (23–9) will play No. 3 Louisville (25–6) as a No. 14 seed in the Albany Region of the Women’s NCAA Tournament.

The Cougars surprised everyone when they won the WCC Tournament as a No. 5 seed on the heels of great performances from Lexi Eaton and Morgan Bailey.

BYU will play the Cardinals in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, March 21 at 4 p.m EST on ESPN2.
