Magleby Construction’s cabinets grace the kitchens of homes in Utah, and the employees are what’s cookin’ in this iconic construction company. Here are three fun facts about the 115 men and women behind Utah County’s No. 1 cabinet company.
They volunteer. They build homes with Habitat for Humanity and with the Utah Valley Home Builders Association in the Subcontractors for Santa program.
They drive vans. Well, company vans, but still. Magleby Construction sends its crews out in white vans, bedecked with its company logo on the exterior, fixed up with tools and equipment on the interior.
They compete. While employees compete in different activities like bowling throughout the year, this year they’re trying out a wellness challenge — and it’s working. In the two months since the challenge started, Magleby Construction employees have lost nearly 600 pounds.
