Samuel Y. Jarman was unanimously voted in by the Board of Education as superintendent of Alpine School District today.
Previously, Jarman served as assistant superintendent of K-12 Educational Services and Schools since 2012 when Gary Seastrand announced his retirement.
Prior to that Jarman was an administrator in the Alpine School District for eight years and served as Provo High School principal in the Provo School District from 1997 to 2004 before that.
“I feel humbled by this opportunity and am fortunate to work with remarkable educators and employees of this district,” Jarman said. “I look forward to continued partnership with families in providing the best education for our students in the Alpine School District.”
