After just over a year of construction, Mountain Point Medical Center in Lehi is ready to open their doors — but first they want to celebrate with the community.
On Friday, May 29, from 1 p.m.–6 p.m., Mountain Point Medical Center is holding an open house to give the community a chance to see the new facility.
From facility tours to a rock-climbing wall, the open house will be informative and fun for everyone in the family. Kids will enjoy the fire trucks, ambulances and life flight helicopters on display; the inflatable slide; and Teddy Bear Clinic. Plus, there will be free food, health screenings and prize giveaways.
The police department will also be there for bike safety demonstrations.
Mountain Point Medical Center broke ground on Feb. 13, 2014 and will begin providing services on June 1. The 28-acre campus is easily accessible from I-15 and SR-92, just east of Thanksgiving Point. The campus will include a 40-bed medical/surgical hospital with a full-service emergency department, intensive care unit, cardiac catheterization laboratory, imaging, laboratory, surgical suites, Women’s Center, labor and delivery suites (including laboring tubs) and primary care.
