Payson Scottish Festival and Highland Games
With bag pipes, a dancing competition and athletic feats, the Payson Scottish Festival transports Utahns to a land where kilts are the norm. Come watch the 32nd Utah State Caber Championship on Saturday as contestants show off their strength.
When: July 10 from 5 p.m.–10 p.m.; July 11 from 8 a.m.–7 p.m.

“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”
With one its largest casts, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” is a whirlwind of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s playful tale of biblical Joseph. Read our review of the colorful show here.

“Book of Life”
Get the popcorn popped and the blankets ready — outdoor movie season is here. Thanksgiving Point allows you to tour their gardens and end the evening with an outdoor movie each Friday night in July. First up, the “Book of Life.”
When: July 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Thanksgiving Point Gardens
Cost: $15 for adults; $12 for children/seniors (included in venue admission)
Happy Valley Derby Darlins
Ready, set, let’s roll! And it’s a fight to the finish with the Happy Valley Derby Darlins in the “Star-Spangled Beatdown.” This all-woman flat track roller derby league is ready for some in-league competition.
When: July 11 at 7 p.m.
Where: The Peaks Arena in Provo
Cost: $10–$12 (FREE with Pass of All Passes)
Root, root, root for the Owlz all weekend long. On Friday night the team takes on Billings. Then the rest of the weekend is dedicated to beating Helena. Batter up!
