Spanish Fork might have a small-town feel, but every year the town explodes with the popularity of its city festival Fiesta Days.

“Spanish Fork is just what it says — it just feels like home,” said Steve Money, Spanish Fork’s rodeo director and event coordinator.

And this is reflected in the theme, “Feels Like Home.” Spanish Fork is home (or was home) to many people.

“We do have a lot of people who come and have class reunions and family reunions during that celebration,” Money said. “A lot of them come home to Spanish Fork during that celebration.”

Money says there are many favorite events at Fiesta Days, but the can’t-miss event is the rodeo.

In 2014, Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo was voted the No. 1 rodeo in the Intermountain Area. With bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, women’s barrel racing, mutton busting and bull riding, there are a variety of events across the board. Tickets always sell out early; buy tickets here.

Besides the rodeo, Money says the big events are the parade and Kid’s Day on Saturday, July 18. Kid’s Day includes a children’s parade, carnival games, fish rodeo and more.
