VIDEO: Utah Valley business leaders try their odds in childhood games

Tables were flipping, towers were tumbling and someone split their hand to earn a double blackjack.

Going along with the theme, “Game Changers,” Utah Valley BusinessQ shared four videos of local business leaders going head-to-head in a few friendly games at its 8th Annual UV50 Gala Wednesday night.

The event, held at the Utah Valley Convention Center, awarded business leaders in three categories: Fastest-Growing Companies, Startups To Watch and Economic Engines. Issimo, a video production company filmed and put together the four videos.

Fitting into each of their categories, winners for “Fastest-Growing Companies” played Blackjack, winners for “Startups to Watch” played Jenga and winners for the “Economic Engines” played Monopoly. (You can figure out the symbolism.) All of the participants in our videos for the UV50 Gala were stacked up against one another in a Utah Valley version of Trivial Pursuit.
