Dustin Christensen ‘knocked out’ of ‘The Voice’

Orem native Dustin Christensen’s journey on “The Voice” came to an end Tuesday night.

Christensen lost in the Knockout Round to teammate Keith Semple. Singing “Free” by the Zac Brown Band, Christensen received a lot of positive feedback from the coaches on his artistry.

“Your voice is so beautiful and soothing,” said singer and coach Gwen Stefani. “You don’t really sing you just tell this story.”

Ultimately, Levine decided to go with Semple’s fighting spirit as he took on the difficult Foreigner song, “I Want to Know What Love Is.”

From his four-chair turn in the Blind Auditions to Adam Levine stealing him for Team Adam in the Battle Round, Christensen has seen a lot of success on “The Voice” and his career isn’t over. Earlier this year, Christensen signed with Carnival Music Publishing.
