Love is in the air, but Valentine’s Day may have caught you off guard. Whether you’re looking for a romantic evening, or are single and proud, here are five Valentine’s weekend events:

44th Annual Utah All-State High School Art Show

Utah’s best and most creative high schoolers gather for a night of showcase, talent and intrigue, allowing them to display their work in a professional capacity. This event benefits not only the artists, but the community.

When: Feb. 6 – Mar. 25 (excluding Mondays)
Where: Springville Art Museum

Date Night Yoga

If you and your significant other are flexible to change, this is the perfect event for the evening. Spend the evening doing yoga, getting fit and having fun, all while relaxing and stretching your limits.

When: Feb. 12 (7 p.m.–8:30 p.m.)

Cost: $7.50 (limited seating, so act quick)

Valentine Dinner Dance

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and you’re scrambling to find an activity in Utah Valley, look no further than this romantic evening featuring live music, an exquisite meal and dancing. Act quickly though — reservations are filling up fast.

When: Feb. 12 – Feb. 13 (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
Where: Thanksgiving Point Show Barn

Galentine’s Day

If the phrase, “single and ready for a pringle,” applies to you in any of the sense the word, this ‘Lil Sebastian of an event based off of the hit NBC comedy “Parks and Recreation” is the perfect way to, “treat yo’ self!” Join your fellow single sisters for a day of volleyball, mocktails, waffles, yoga and more, that would cause even the great Leslie Knope to feel envious!

Valentine’s Dance

For teenagers, Valentine’s Day can be stressful, or just a reminder of being single, fret not, because this event is for anyone 16 and older looking to cut loose and have a good time. Bring yourself, or your friends and prepare for a night of good music a la Al Huish Band, good people and good memories.

When: Feb. 13 (8:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
Where: Orem Senior Friendship Center

BONUS: Day of Free Yoga

If downward dog and meditation are your thing, enjoy a full day of working out and relaxing. InBALANCE YOGA, a new yoga studio in Orem, is providing a variety of free yoga classes including hot yoga and a special glowga (yoga with glowsticks) class on Saturday. Nama-stay all day.
