Orem’s Jenn Blosil eliminated from ‘American Idol’



Orem native Jenn Blosil was eliminated on the “American Idol: The Farewell Season” top 14 results show Thursday night.

“Just got off the phone with Harryconnickjr. WHAT A NICE GUY,” Blosil wrote on her Facebook page.

“I just created a little periscope to say THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Thank you for wanting to be a part of this journey with me, THANK YOU for believing in me and understanding my art and appreciating what I love to do!!! You have made this experience so so special! Here’s to us and more memories to come!!!!”

Blosil, 23, impressed the judges with her unique sound and quirky personality to earn her a spot in the top 14.

On Wednesday night, Blosil received praise from the judges on her performance of Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors.”

Look for Blosil in Utah Valley Magazine’s Fab 40, which will be in mailboxes next week.
