From the Point of the Mountain all the way down to Santaquin, Utah Valley has a lot to offer — especially in weekend activities. There are no excuses for staying in all weekend when there are these quality events happening around Utah Valley. Here are five of our picks for the upcoming weekend:

“Saturday’s Warrior”

You may have “met (this musical) somewhere before,” but this time the SCERA is bringing the Flinders family back to the stage. The classic piece of LDS pop culture follows a family of eight children from the pre-existence to their journey on earth.

Pummel Pornography 5K

After going through counseling for her pornography addiction, Orem native Suzy Jordan is sharing her story to help others find help. Part of her effort includes organizing the Pummel Pornography 5K. Read more about Jordan’s story and the race here.

Tulip Festival

More than 250,000 tulips covering the 55-acres at Thanksgiving Point’s Ashton Gardens are in full bloom. With a limited window of time, don’t miss the flowers at their peak.

“Alice in Wonderland” by Smash Dance Academy

Take a trip down the rabbit’s burrow to the mystical land called Wonderland. Join Alice and friends in a dancing bash of a “very unhappy birthday celebration.”

BYU baseball vs. Creighton

Take your family out to the ballgame at Miller Park. The Cougars are hitting it out of the park this season. Currently ranked No. 20, BYU takes on No. 25 Creighton this weekend.
