Everyone needs a little orange in their lives, and EDGEhomes is trying to fulfill that need.
Besides helping you dream up your ideal home during the 2016 Utah Valley Parade of Homes, EDGEhomes is giving away two orange KitchenAids associated with their parade home (No. 20).
When people visit its home, EDGEhomes has a sign explaining exactly how to to win a KitchenAid: “Take a photo of your favorite room in the house, or even your favorite feature, for a chance to win an orange KitchenAid.”
“It is really cool because they can go into our parade home and really look at all the design details, not just the design of the home and the furniture,” said Lily Hancock, social media manager for EDGEhomes. “I mean backsplash, countertops, fireplace, etc. so they can really pick their favorite thing and showcase that.”
Using the hashtags #EDGEhomes, #perfecttiming and #edgehomesuvparadehome on the post, people are entered into the contest. Make sure your Instagram isn’t private so your entry will appear in EDGEhomes’ search.
“It’s a fun way for them to show what they love because the parade home is really about people coming in and getting ideas,” Hancock said. “Maybe they aren’t buying a house, but they are getting ideas for their own house, like what to do and how to design things in their own homes.”
And if you don’t have Utah Valley Parade of Homes tickets, EDGEhomes is holding a couple giveaways for tickets on its Facebook page.
EDGEhomes is an affordable way to build your own home. They have built condos, townhomes and single homes for first-time buyers to previous homeowners.
“One thing about EDGE that really stands out to other builders in the parade is that we are very affordable,” Hancock said. “There are some other builders that are very extravagant, custom, huge. Our homes are very affordable, but gorgeous at the same time.”
