Eat more free: Start the week with free Slurpees and Chick-fil-A

Cow Appreciation Day is Tuesday, July 12 from open until 7 p.m.

Two annual free food events are making the start of the work week a whole lot better.

7-Eleven’s Free Slurpee Day is on Monday, July 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Customers receive a free small Slurpee at participating stores.

But this year 7-Eleven has gone a step further to sweeten the deal as part of its 50th birthday. If you download the 7-Eleven app and purchase seven Slurpees during Slurpee Week, then you receive 11 free Slurpees.

There is even a new birthday cake flavor to try. Learn more about Slurpee Week deals at

On Tuesday, July 12, Chick-fil-A is holding its annual Cow Appreciation Day — which means a free entrée. This year Chick-fil-A is making it easier for you to earn your free chicken sandwich by allowing anyone with  cow attire, not just dressed up as a cow, to receive the free entrée. The Cow Appreciation Day lasts from open until 7 p.m. Learn more about Cow Appreciation Day at
