It’s an orange life with EDGEhomes — and they want to bring a little orange to you life, too.
Friday kicked off the 2016 Salt Lake Parade of Homes, which features 32 homes. At this year’s parade home, EDGEhomes is giving away two orange KitchenAids.
In order to enter the drawing for the KitchenAids, you have to visit EDGEhome’s parade home. Here’s how to enter:
- Take a picture with your favorite design, room or with the orange truck at EDGEhome’s parade home.
- Share the photo on Instagram.

Home 29 — EDGEhome’s Lauren — is 4,230-foot, 2-floor home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The modern farmhouse design has an open floor plan and the design includes oversized windows and doors, oversized kitchen island, natural stone fireplace, luxury master bathroom and much more.
One of the special features in EDGEhome’s Salt Lake Parade home is a room created with the partnership of Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Kellie Little, EDGEhomes VP of marketing says,“Make-A-Wish is one of my favorite things we do at EDGEhomes. Each year we decorate a room with a design inspired by a child. Our employees and associates rally together to raise funds for an amazing cause. Once you jump on board, you’ll be hooked.”
This year’s Make-A-Wish room is Magnus’ room featured in EDGEhomes’ Salt Lake Parade home. Magnus, a five year old with brain cancer, was granted a wish by Make-A-Wish to go on a Royal Caribbean cruise with his family. EDGEhomes helped expand Mangus’ wish by creating a room based on his Caribbean cruise.
“It has been such a blast designing the perfect room for Magnus!” said Kate Heath, EDGEhomes design studio manager. “He is such a sweet little guy who just loves boats and anything ocean. As we created this room, we worked to create a space that felt warm and comfortable but also very symbolic of Magnus and what he loves. From the ocean wave wallpaper to the red octopuses on the walls, our design vision was to capture his fun spunky style. It’s been such a privilege to meet Magnus and his awesome family and to contribute to their lives, as well as to the Make-A-Wish Foundation!”
