Utah-Tube: Belle Jewel eliminated in live performances of ‘The Voice’

American Fork singer Belle Jewel was eliminated from Season 11 of NBC’s “The Voice” on Monday night as the contestants were cut from 20 to 12.

Fans voted for two members of each team — Team Miley (Cyrus), Team Adam (Levine), Team Blake (Shelton) and Team Alicia (Keys) — on Twitter and the Voice app. Then the team coaches chose to save one of their three remaining contestants. Jewel, who was stolen by Miley Cyrus in the Knockout Round, was sent home.

Jewel sang “Runaway” for her live performance song.

“I enjoyed just working with you because I’ve never gotten to dig in that library, in that genre and play with these kind of songs,” Cyrus told Jewel during elimination. “And the way you performed ‘Runaway’ tonight and that you were so open to the arrangement, you just performed it so beautifully and it was so yourself, so I’ve enjoyed working with you so much.”

Elimination from “The Voice” isn’t the end for this Utah County singer. After the show, Jewel tweeted:
