Utah-Tube: BYU Vocal Point and Stuart Edge take an a cappella winter train ride

It’s not a winter sleigh ride, but a train ride with an a cappella flash mob.

BYU Vocal Point teamed up with Stuart Edge to create a magical Polar Express train ride on Heber Valley Railroad in Heber Valley, Utah.

Heber Valley Railroad holds the North Pole Express every winter through Dec. 24. The 90-minute excursion allows you to warm up with hot cocoa and Mrs. Claus’ famous chocolate chip cookies. Elves serve hot cocoa while Santa asks the children what they want for Christmas. Tickets cost $5 for toddlers (ages 2 and under), $25–$40 for children and $35–$50 for adults. Learn more about the North Pole Express at hebervalleyrr.org.

BYU Vocal Point sang “Jingle Bells,” which is one of the songs featured on the first-ever Christmas special that aired on BYUtv on Sunday. The Christmas special, “Christmas Under the Stars,” was filmed at Thanksgiving Point in October. It features other vocalists including Ryan Innes, Madilyn Paige, Peter Hollens and the One Voice Children’s Choir. Watch the whole performance here.
