Utah-Tube: Dahlia Row’s final song of 2016 is a carol of giving

December is sharing. December is giving. “December Song” is the final music video of the year from Dahlia Row. The music group from Payson, Utah shared its final video of the year, a cover of a cappella YouTube star Peter Hollen’s song, on Tuesday night.

“The video depicts the childhood magic of Christmas and the spirit of giving,” wrote Chris Meek, one of the singers, in an email. “A young boy writes his Santa letter only asking that he be able to give gifts to childhood friends around him. He wakes to find Christmas gifts and journeys out each eve to deliver the magical gifts.”

Dahlia Row’s scenes in the music video were shot at White Willow Reception Center in Provo, Utah and the young boy’s story was shot in Lehi, Utah.

The new group of three — including Becky Foster (piano and vocals), Lynda Breese (violin) and Chris Meek (vocals) — organized Dahlia Row at the beginning of the summer for a chance to continue their love for music.

Dahlia Row chose their group name because of the challenges the individual group members have had in getting a chance to share their musical talents.
