2017 Fab 40: Jill Kaufusi

Age: 33
City: Provo

Casting call As a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Jill focuses on “helping women strengthen themselves — physically, emotionally and mentally — to give them a happy, healthy life.” In addition to mothering four children under the age of 9, Jill shares fitness ideas, health tips, nutritious recipes and her love of tacos with more than 15,000 followers on Instagram and on her website. Jill has also been suggested by Utah Valley Magazine readers as a must-feature dozens of times.

Dress rehearsal “I’m the clumsiest. I recently fell in a busy Target parking lot after slipping on the ice, but that won’t keep me from enjoying some Target time.”

Break-a-leg advice “There is never a perfect time to go for goals. Start today and give it everything you have.”

Behind-the-scenes “I was a massage therapist for 10 years.”

The show must go on “I moved away from home (Meridian, Idaho) when I was 17 and have taken care of myself ever since. It was rough putting myself in new situations without the help of my parents, but it really taught me how to work hard and hustle to get to where I need to be.”

Encore “I think the moments I would want to relive are each time I gave birth and met the new baby I had been carrying for nine months. It’s a moment I wouldn’t mind having an encore to.”
