Utah-Tube: BYU Vocal Point shares ‘tale as old as time’ with Lexi Walker

BYU Vocal Point invited YouTubers to “be (their) guest” as they shared a “tale as old of time” in their newest music video featuring singer Lexi Walker.

With the BYU Ballroom Dance Company sweeping the ballroom, the 9-man a cappella group and 14-year-old singer took a tour of the “poor provincial town” (or, more specifically, Wadley Farms Castle in Lindon, Utah).

The medley included three songs from the soon-to-be released classic Disney live-action film: “Belle,” “Be Our Guest” and “Beauty and the Beast.”

The “Beauty and the Beast” music video by these two Utah musicians comes at the perfect time as the live-action “Beauty and the Beast” featuring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens will be released in theaters on March 17.

Google Trends reported Monday that Utahns have googled “Beauty and the Beast” at a higher rate than any other state in the nation during the past year. Utah is followed by Idaho and Wyoming.
