Utah-Tube: Lindsey Stirling gives behind-the-scenes look of tour life with ‘Beauty and Beast’ medley

Pop violinist Lindsey Stirling gets a bit peculiar backstage and has a little fun with her cast and crew in her video depicting the behind-the-scenes life of touring.

In her video, Stirling dresses as Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” as she plays a medley from the movie, including the songs “Belle,” “Gaston,” “Be Our Guest” and “Beauty and the Beast.”

Stirling, a classically trained violinist from Gilbert, Arizona, earned her way to fame through her YouTube channel. The BYU graduate has a unique style of music that blends pop and violin — and it is all accomplished while she dances.

The live-action “Beauty and the Beast” featuring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens will be released in theaters on March 17, 2017, which is the same day as BYU’s new one-day Spring Break.
