Spring has officially sprung. As the first buds of the season are coloring the county, don’t let the April showers keep you inside. Utah Valley always has something going on — whether its a musical performance, sporting events or a random affair – and you shouldn’t miss it. Here are five weekend best bets for entertainment.

Bijou Market

Say bijou to local shopping this weekend. With over 70 local vendors and food trucks, the Bijou Market will have some new handmade item that will tickle your fancy.

Earth Day Celebration

Thanksgiving Point is starting off its Earth Day celebration by making an earth-friendly announcement. Then the party for the Earth begins with various Earth Day games, activities and prizes.

When: April 22 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point
Cost: $15 for adults; $12 for children; FREE for ages 2 and under

“My Fair Lady”

“The rain in Spain” couldn’t stop you from enjoying this classic musical. Mindy Smoot Robbins plays Eliza Doolittle and Marvin Payne plays Professor Henry Higgins in the well-known story about a common woman transformed into a lady.

When: April 14 – May 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Provo Food Truck Roundup

Circle the food trucks! Provo’s popular Thursday night food fest has added another night each week to try locals’ favorite meals on wheels.

UVU Baseball vs. Chicago State

Take me out to the ball game! While Friday’s temperatures are cooler, Saturday will warm up for a night at the ball park. UVU baseball takes on Chicago State in a double header on Saturday.

When: April 21 – Chicago State, 6 p.m.
April 22 – Chicago State, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
