BYU Vocal Point takes on a serious note with its newest music video — anti-bullying.

Inspired by the Broadway musical hit, “Dear Evan Hansen,” BYU Vocal Point covers a pivotal song from the show, “You Will Be Found.”

To capture the loneliness and hope expressed in the song, BYU Vocal Point traveled to Moab to film the desert scenes for the music video. The high school scenes were filmed at Juab High School.

The nine-man a cappella group also invited youth in the area from the Juab High School Choir and Moab Choir to participate in the music video.

“Dear Evan Hansen” has been nominated for nine Tony Awards including Best Musical for 2017. The show tells the story of Evan Hansen, a teenager with social anxiety, who accidentally becomes a social media sensation from a misinterpreted act of kindness.
