Summer is finally here and there is no turning back. We’ve tackled spring’s rain (and snow) showers, but now we are ready for nothing but fun in the sun. Utah Valley pulls out all the stops to create a fun summer full of events — whether its a musical performance, sporting event or a random affair — and you shouldn’t miss it. Here are five weekend best bets to fill your summer nights.
Namast-come to the 1st annual Granogi Fest at Thanksgiving Point. The outdoor yoga festival will include booths with yoga classes throughout the day, meditation classes, drum circles, healthy food, live music, outdoor gear for purchase and so much more. Don’t worry if you aren’t a yogi quite yet, they are offering classes for beginners all the way up to those who are advance.
When: June 17 at 7 p.m.

Utah Art of Magic Festival
Pick an activity, any activity — but you should choose the 2nd annual Utah Art of Magic Festival. Professional magicians will perform logic-defying tricks. Plus, there will be magic activities all day long, including magic shows, classes, vendors, crafts and a whole lot of fun. Extra rooms are being added to accommodate even more magic lovers.
When: June 17 from 10-4 p.m.

Parade of Homes
Join thousands in Utah Valley exploring all the beautiful homes highlighted in the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. The self-guided tour showcases homes with different designs and styles, inspiring new home improvements for those who come (#HomeGoals). Preview the 31 homes here.
When: June 14–24 from 12-9 p.m., closed Sundays and Mondays

Lehi’s Round-Up celebration is just around the corner. The weeklong event kicks off this Saturday with a run, a doubles tennis tournament, a princess party and a car show. If that isn’t enough to get you excited, throughout the week there will be various other events including a concert and picnic in the park, a baby contest, an outdoor movie, a grand parade and, of course, the rodeo. Put on your cowboy boots and giddy up down to Lehi.

Dance the Night Away at The Orchard
The Orchard will be hosting a dance party, which is a part of its Twilight Dance Series. This weekend’s dance style is Salsa and features music from Rumba Libre. No dance experience? No problem. Before the dance party begins, The Orchard is offering a free dance class to learn the steps.
