Dr. Cameron Egbert started out as a boy playing on the baseball fields of Sandy. He returned to Utah seven years ago as an oral surgeon at Summit Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Spanish Fork.
Dr. Egbert completed his dental training at the University of Utah Medical Center and then Creighton University. He then began his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. There he not only received thorough training in oral and maxillofacial surgery but also internal medicine, emergency medicine, general anesthesia, trauma surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Directed by the experience and expertise of Dr. Egbert, Summit Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery performs wisdom teeth extractions and dental implants. He also performs surgery for TMJ issues, facial trauma, jaw correction, oral cancer treatment, sleep apnea, grafting and cleft lip and palate concerns.
Dr. Egbert’s extensive training is an essential component of his surgical practice. His friendly manner and caring personality make all the difference to each of his patients.
When Dr. Egbert gently sends his patients home to recover, he also returns home to his loving wife and four darling daughters.
Dr. Egbert might not be spending much time in the dugout these days, but he is careful to enjoy each moment he spends with his wonderful patients and family.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires a specialized blend of medical, surgical and dental understanding and proficiency.
Dr. Egbert’s training qualifies him to perform specialized surgeries treating a number of diseases, injuries and conditions with the head, neck, jaw and soft tissues of the mouth.
His skill — combined with his bedside manner — has earned him a reputation as one of the area’s best oral surgeons.
