July 31 marks Harry Potter’s birthday. The title character brought to life in J.K. Rowling’s books turns 37.
Last month marked 20 years since “Harry Potter and the Philospher’s Stone” — the first book in the Harry Potter series — hit the book shelves for the first time.
To celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday, here are a few of our favorite Utah Valley Harry Potter parodies:
“Dark Lord Funk”
Voldemort rose from the dead again in 2015 with YouTuber Keith Allen in “Dark Lord Funk.” To this day, it has garnered more the 13 million views. Read more here.

Capturing the frustration of poorly functioning apps, “Studio C” uses Severus Snape as Siri’s replacement in this relatable sketch for anyone who struggles with technology.
“Harry Potter vs. Twilight Dance Battle”
Orem YouTuber Scott David Winn created a dance battle between characters from two fan-fueled book series. This spellbinding video has more than 10 million views since being published in July 2014.
“Harry Potter and the Mirror of Erised”
