School has officially taken over the valley, but attendance at these fun weekend events is mandatory. Take a break from hitting the books and enjoy a weekend of fun in September with these Utah Valley events.

“Catch Pocket Monsters: A Musical Parody”

Gotta catch the show! Four Utah comedies wrote the script for this “Pokemon” parody. Backed by a Kickstarter campaign, this story follows RED and his friends as he tries to “catch ’em all” while facing rivals, mobsters, parental abandonment, and fighting to become the greatest trainer the world has ever known.

Unfortunately, bad acting, missed cues and disastrous rehearsals curse the production. Prepare to laugh with this director’s cut of a comedy.
