The Outlets at Traverse Mountain are home to some of the valley’s best Christmas shopping AND the state’s tallest fresh Christmas tree. Need proof? Last year, Gov. Gary R. Herbert signed an official proclamation declaring the 85-foot white fir the tallest fresh-cut tree in Utah.
The tree is brought in from a California tree farm and is picked in the beginning of November.
“The layout of the outlets was designed with the tree in mind,” says Outlets at Traverse Mountain Marketing Director Crystal Jones. “We made sure to have a nice big open space for the tree, and the aisle between the stores is wide enough for a semi to roll through to deliver the tree.”

The Outlets at Traverse Mountain’s annual tree lighting event will take place Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. After performances by Asher Angel and The Strike, the tree will be set aglow at 7 p.m. by Lehi Mayor Bert Wilson and his sidekick Santa Claus.
