Christmas decor can transition from fa la blah blah blah to fa la oh là là at Sun River Gardens holiday wreath workshop, where attendees create a one-of-a-kind festive piece with assistance from workshop elves (aka Sun River employees).
This two-hour class inside one of Utah County’s North Pole lookalikes brings together an eclectic mixture of luscious greens, bright berries and other natural elements.
“Wreaths are very traditional and symbolize a time for gathering,” says Tanya Engh of Sun River Gardens.
Although the workshop is only held on Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon, Sun River Gardens is open throughout the holiday season, with evergreen boughs, winter pot arrangements and freshly-cut Christmas trees. The holiday shop includes unique gifts for your list (checked twice).
“We absolutely love the holidays at Sun River Gardens,” Tanya says. “We always hope to inspire and make the holidays a memorable and joyous time of year for all who come out.”
The wreath workshop is $55 and includes materials. Learn more at sunrivergardens.com.
