5 Utah Valley ‘Star Wars’ videos for fans who can’t wait for ‘The Last Jedi’

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” officially hits theaters on Friday, but some fans can’t wait to see the new movie in the saga. Here are a few Utah Valley YouTube videos and parodies to hold you over until you can see the highly-anticipated film.

Luke Skywalker’s garden

“Studio C” returns to the final scene of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” where Rey (Daisy Ridley) reaches out a lightsaber to Luke Skywalker (a role revised by Mark Hamill). In this parody, Luke Skywalker (played by Adam Berg) wants nothing more than to work on growing his garden.

Star Wars in real life

Stuart Edge released this real-life Star Wars experience when “Rogue One” was released in 2016. Taking place in a parking garage, a lone lightsaber sits on the ground. When someone picks up the lightsaber, Kylo Ren comes out with stormtroopers to fight the unsuspecting, newfound jedis.

Are you ever confused about the Star Wars saga film? Mocking Star Wars for its repeated storylines and ability to pull a new movie from the tiniest detail, “Studio C” looks to what could be the future of the Star Wars saga.

A new battle

KFaceTV has a series of rap battles where Star Wars characters duke out their differences through rap songs. In the most recent video, Han Solo and Princess Leia settle their differences.

A cappella theme song

BYU Noteworthy, a nine-member, all female a cappella group hits the right notes in the classic Star Wars theme song which is mashed up with other tunes from a galaxy far, far away.
