It’s the month of love and now you can show how much you heart Utah County on the weekends. Fall in love with these Utah Valley weekend events:

“The Little Mermaid”

The Hale Center Theater has the “whozits and whatzits galore” in its production of “The Little Mermaid.” You don’t have to go “under the sea” to be part of this “fish out of water” experience. With more songs than were included in the Disney movie, you’ll get a whole new perspective of Ariel and her fishy friends.

When: Feb. 16 – April 14 at 7:30 p.m. with Saturday matinee at 3 p.m.

BYU Cougarettes

The 17-time National College Dance team champions take center stage this weekend. Showcasing their wide repertoire, the BYU Cougarettes will perform Jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, Broadway and more pieces in their annual concert.

When: Feb. 15 and 17 at 7 p.m.
Where: Covey Center for the Arts

BYU gymnastics

They’re going to flip! The BYU gymnastics squad hosts Denver and Southern Utah for a meet. Watch them balance, spring and fly across the floor (or beam).

When: Feb. 16 at 7 p.m.

Sundance Valentine Zip Tour

The scenic winter tour takes you on two lines: Ray’s Lift and Outlaw Span. After your soaring experience, Sundance has complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

“Little Red”

SCERA’s Theatre for Young Audiences takes a twist on Little Red Riding Hood’s tale as she takes on the Big Bad Wolf. This one-hour musical production is catered to children and focused on introducing children to live theater.
