2018 Fab 40: Mallory Oliverson

Meet one of Utah Valley Magazine's 2018 Fab 40

Age: 24

The Journey Mallory works full-time at UVU as a Government/High Impact Internship Coordinator, started her own interior decorating business called Blossom Design, and is a social media and marketing manager at The Market Beautiful. (Oh, and she loves the color pink.)

Mile Markers “Landing the best husband ever. He is the one who deserves all the credit behind this crazy life of ours. He’s always pushed me to chase my dreams, even when other people doubted or when I doubted myself. I’m not a natural risk taker, and he encourages me to be a ‘girl boss’ every day.”

Road Blocks “Embracing my ‘weirdness.’ I spent a lot of years dreaming about my goals rather than doing them. A huge turn around was realizing that just because my dreams were different from the typical mold, it did not mean they were not possible or worthy of my effort. I found my true happiness when I embraced my unique talents.”

Local Destination “I love farmland in southern Utah County. My husband and I dream of owning our own farm one day.”

Kenzie is an intern for Bennett Communications. She graduated from Utah Valley University in December 2017. If you're looking for Kenzie, you'll most likely find her burning food in the kitchen, or listening to Chris Browns latest album.
