Ethan Nelson’s next chapter involves an LDS mission call to Argentina, but his high school chapter is full of athletic and academic achievement.

Advice for freshmen Whatever you choose to do, be the best at it. Don’t have regrets about your time in high school.

Guilty pleasure SportsCenter and Spongebob is where it’s at.

Challenge to overcome Toward the end of my senior football season, I had to have surgery on my shoulder to repair a 4 AC separation. Through therapy and support, I played my senior basketball season and only had to miss the first five games.

No. 1 thing learned in high school Kindness, hard work and determination go a long way.

Best high school memory Playing football in the 4A state semifinals at Rice-Eccles Stadium my junior year.

Best advice received If you are willing to work for it, you can achieve it.

Stress management Understanding that no matter how bad of a day you have had, there will be another day full of opportunity.

How will you change the world? By looking for those in need of help. Reaching out to others blesses their lives and yours.
