Mini-resume Regional Sterling Scholar runner-up for computer technology, NHS member, Inspirations state winner for film/video, Ringling Precollege Awards list for outstanding achievement, 30 ACT.

Plans after high school College to earn BFA in graphic design. Interning at studios or freelancing during summers.

Personal motto Plan now, work less later.

Advice for freshmen Try a lot of new things. High school is a great time to discover who you want to be.

Guilty pleasure Video games and really bad electonic music.

No. 1 thing learned in high school Deadlines are not optional.

Best high school memory Visiting studios in California with other students. We went to NBC, Troika and DreamWorks. It was fantastic to talk to people in the industry and get insight into how they do things.

Others describe you Always working on something, always trying to learn new things, and excited about what I’m passionate about.

Biggest pressure To make every project perfect and outdo myself. After a project is over, I usually think, “I could have done better.”

Stress management I lay out everything I need to do and take it one step at a time.

How will you change the world? I’ll communicate important messages and topics through media, improving the world through motion design.
