Megan Nelson is a doer. Student government? Check. Volleyball and track? Check. Drama? Yep. In fact, she’s such a doer that she admits one of the most frequent phrases she hears from her parents is, “What class did you miss today?”

Mini-resume Senior class president, sophomore and junior class vice president, National Honor Society, captain of volleyball and track teams, first place finish in drama contemporary scene competition, state math team member.

Plans after high school UVU honors program to study psychology.

Personal motto If you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.

Advice for freshmen Get involved and try new things. You never know what you like until you try it.

Stress management I drive with my music really loud.

How will you change the world? I want to find more natural remedies that can be used in place of harsh medications with bad side effects.
