Just For Starters Anders Taylor is a self-starter. Not only is he the brainchild behind Provo’s Food Truck Roundup, but he is a work space connoisseur. He helped develop Provo Studios for artists, The Bright Building for video production teams, and both the Startup Building and the Hide and Fur Building for entrepreneurs. “I love creating cool spaces where communities can thrive,” he says. No false starts here.

Childhood Vision “A police man or an astronaut. Either way, I wanted my name to be Mike.”

Growing Up “I was shy. And I was  really into legos, action figures, nerf and lady bugs.”

School of Thought “My high school in Palo Alto, Calif., was super competitive. It was a high-pressure environment, and I did OK, but I never felt that smart.”

Hindsight is 20/20 “I wish I would have taken more time before choosing my major to find out what I was passionate about. I would have studied something more along the lines of business or finance. I’m learning about that now with real life experience, but it would have been nice to have more of a background. I may pursue an MBA at some point.”

A Visionary Is “Someone who can create a new concept that fills a need and executes it.”

Out of Sight! “The coolest thing I’ve done? Climbing the Matterhorn. It was probably the scariest experience of my life, but really fun.”

Ultimate Vision “To create space that inspires people.”
